Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information agnello's mkt ("we", "us") collects when you visit agnellosmkt.com or order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We're a small bakery, and we only collect what we need to take your order, have it ready, and keep in touch if you ask us to.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address and phone number, your order and pickup date, notes you add to an order, messages you send through the contact form, and reviews you write.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Subscription information: if you subscribe, our subscription provider Recharge stores your subscription schedule and payment method so it can renew your order.
- Information collected automatically: when you browse the site, Shopify and the apps we use collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and items added to your cart, using cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To take payment, prepare your order and have it ready on the date you chose.
- To contact you about your order, for example if a pickup date changes.
- To run subscriptions you sign up for.
- To send marketing emails, if you sign up for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To run our rewards program, if you join it.
- To show product reviews and improve the site and our products.
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run the shop, and only for that purpose:
- Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments (Shopify's privacy policy).
- Recharge, for subscriptions.
- Klaviyo, which sends our emails and records how you use the site and our emails, so the emails we send are relevant to you.
- Yotpo, for product reviews and rewards.
- Airtable, which we use to keep track of orders and prepare them for pickup.
We don't sell your personal information. We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Cookies
Cookies keep your cart working and help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart, from working.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. We keep other information only as long as it's useful for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that's wrong;
- ask us to delete it;
- opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising, or profiling.
To make a request, email support@agnellosmkt.com. We'll verify your request and respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our response, and we'll answer within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
